Totalling 30 images made over 30 consecutive days, Waxing and waning into anew draws on the cyclical nature of life and human experience. Intuitively made, each image and title responds to a card/s drawn from a daily oracle card reading for the collective. The project is a journey within and also a journey out, especially into the sensory and natural world. The work is an invitation, to meet oneself for a moment… in reflection, stillness, meditation. The ability for art to heal is at the forefront, the subjective mind precious in its keys to our past and hopes for the future. The images here, padlock-like, offer a space for our keys to be used. As we unlock awareness of thought, we learn how to strengthen our connection to that knowing part of ourselves, our inner compass so we may be divinely guided.
