Emerging from the Blue consists of photographs of developing black and white polaroid film. Both of the images have equal weight, yet the black and white are more recognised. Side by side, they reflect themselves. Mirroring, yet not a true mirror, they show the same image at different stages. The moment of blue represents a point of innocence and possibility, while the black and white offer more clarity. As we develop and age life becomes more black and white, however, here we are reminded of the importance of reflecting back on the blue.
